What treats do I use?

Use treats that your dog gets excited about but can have plenty of. Your dog might eat as many as 100 treats over the course of the assessment, so it helps to use treats that are not too filling, and don't take too long to eat. It also helps to start with treats that are not too rich and tasty, and keep the really good stuff on hand as back-up. That way if your dog begins to lose interest, you'll have the option to start using more exciting treats to reengage him or her.
