How do I update my browser?

The Dognition website will work better on an updated browser. To update your browser for:

Chrome-Open up Chrome, click on the icon that looks like three horizontal bars, and go to About Google Chrome. This will prompt a check to see if you have the latest version of Google Chrome. If you do not, a box will pop up to ask if you would like to update. Click Update Now. It will take a few minutes to finish downloading the new version, but once it is done it will prompt you to close all Chrome windows. Quit and restart the browser.

Safari-on Mac OS X, click the Apple icon at the upper left corner of your desktop and go to Software Update in the Apple Menu. The Software Update window should appear with all the updates your computer suggests. If you need to update, it will appear in the list. Make sure the check box is checked and click Install at the bottom of Software Update window. Authenticate yourself by typing in your administrative password. 
      -on Windows, go to Start (which might look like the Windows flag icon), click All Programs, and then go to Apple Software Updates. Check for updates by clicking on File and going to Check for Updates in the Apple Software Update window. Select the new version of Safari by making sure the check box is checked. (If no versions of Safari are displayed  in the window, you already have the latest version of the Safari browser). Click "Install 1 Item", agree to the license agreement (if you accept) and click Yes to the User Account Control prompt (if one appears). 

Firefox-If you have Firefox version 16 or above, your web browser will automatically update when updates are released from Firefox. If you have Firefox 15 or below, click on the Firefox button in the very top left hand corner. Go to Help menu and select About Firefox. For Windows XP, go to Help menu and select About Firefox. The About Firefox window will begin to check for updates. If updates are available, they will begin to download automatically. When the updates are ready to be installed, click Restart to Update in the About Firefox window. Firefox will be restarted and the updates will be installed.

Internet Explorer-Open Windows Update by clicking the Start button (which might look like the Windows flag icon). Click All Programs, and the click Windows Update. In the left pane, click Check for Updates. In the right pane, click on any link for updates (if any are available). Check the new version of Internet Explorer version (and anythiing else you'd like to update). Click OK. You might be prompted to type in the administrator password for your computer.
